CalBaptist Racing will compete in the Collegiate Design Series 2019 competition in Lincoln, NE as vehicle number 48.
While most of the team members are from the CalBaptist Gordon and Jill Bourns College of Engineering the club also has active members from other programs at CalBaptist such as Business and Graphic Design.
Students on the CalBaptist Racing Team are committed to applying what they are learning outside of the classroom. Hewlett and Packard have been quoted as saying that they learned more from their hands-on involvement in a student club than their engineering coursework. Our team members are given the opportunity to apply what they are learning in a practical way.
We are grateful to all of our sponsors. We owe our unique learning opportunity to their involvement!
Our past sponsors have enabled us to progress to our current design. We are grateful for the trust, encouragement, and investment they have made in our team.
This is the best car we've integrated to date. We look forward to its performance at the competition this year.
This vehicle incorporated major improvements over the previous year. These included a change in the powerplant, tire size, and other major components.
Our first year, we competed as Car #15. Our production to competition timeline was challenging and we all learned a lot in the process.
